Course Description
The aim of this course is to provide students with an introduction to
practical skills required for employment in administrative, customer
service or retail sectors, or to progress onto further and higher
levels of training or education.

Target Trainee Profile
Age Requirements: The training programme is suitable for young adults over 18 years of age.
Educational Qualifications: Junior Certificate or equivalent preferred.
Aptitude: Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
Personal Skills: We are looking for people who show a genuine interest and enthusiasm in working in a retail/office environment, and who are punctual and committed to attend training.

Previous Experience: Basic Computer Skills are required
Special Requirements: N/A

This full-time course is FÁS funded, and will be of 30 weeks duration and is due to commence on Monday 16th April 2012. The course venue is Unit 14 BEaT Centre, Stephenstown Industrial Estate Balbriggan Co. Dublin. Those interested should register with FÁS, and register on this particular course.

Burglaries in Balbriggan: Follow up notice

Dear all

Further to the email below which was sent out on Friday 23rd March

Many residents of Balbriggan are very concerned re the increase in break ins to both private and residential properties in the area in particular over the past few weeks. I would like to relay an important message to all residents from the Balbriggan Garda Station which is as follows.

  • The Balbriggan Garda Station are fully aware of the increase in Burglaries in particular over the past three weeks.
  • The Balbriggan Garda Station have at present an operation in place which is a definite proactive response to the above.

I would like to relay the following message from the Balbriggan Garda Station:

1. In relation to the recent increase in Burglaries and the operation that is in place a number of significant arrests have been made and also vehicles have been seized.

2. The operation overseen by the Assistant Commissioner and Chief Superintendent will remain in place .

Warning: Car break-ins

This is a warning to all residents to be aware that there has been a series of car break-ins in Bremore Castle and the surrounding estates in the past few weeks. Items such as sat navs, sunglasses, etc. have been taken from cars.

Please be sure you lock your car at night, and avoid leaving valuables in your car overnight.
