Meeting: Development plan submissions

A number of residents attended the Development Plan meeting on Tuesday. At this meeting, they got to give their views on different aspects of development in Balbriggan. We now have until June 26th to draft a submission for the plan. Lourens has kindly agreed to draft this letter for us. We will meet on Monday June 8th in The Milestone at 8pm to discuss our submission. If you would like to have input into the submission, please come along.

Bremore Castle BBQ!

Keep your schedule free for Saturday June 6th! A few people living in the estate have suggested a barbecue. Nothing official or formal – bring your own grill, food, and beverages! But it might be a good way to get to know your neighbours.

A time and a location have yet to be agreed, so if you have a suggestion, let us know. The current suggestion is to hold the BBQ on the street where the three storey houses run parallel with Hamlet Lane. If you check out the map, that’s the street with houses numbered 753-755, 808-815, and 820-823. This street has no through-traffic, which is why it was suggested.

If you have any preferences for the BBQ time, let us know. It has been suggested to start the BBQ in the early afternoon (say 2pm) or in the early evening (say 6pm). A decision on the final details will be made in the next week, and then those details will be posted here for everyone.

The Bremore Castle Residents Association takes no responsibility for personal injury or loss of property during the planned event.
