Bremore Castle

Many thanks to Kate, our Community Guard, for attending our Residents’ Association meeting last night. Kate provided valuable information on dealing with anti-social behaviour and any problems that may arise in our community. She also provided information on setting up a Neighbourhood Watch programme in our area. We will provide more details of what was discussed when we publish the meeting minutes.

Paula McKenzie, Chairperson of the Residents’ Association, has written to the Roads Department in Fingal County Council requesting the following safety measures be implemented in our estate:

Request for traffic calming measures

Request to have ‘Children At Play’ Signs erected

No Parking of large trucks in Estate (Signage)

Request to have Road Names assigned in estate.

Following on from the Residents’ Association meeting, which they attended in June, Grainne Kilmurry and Brendan Ryan looked into the taking in charge of the Bremore Castle estate by Fingal County Council. The meeting with the Transportation Department in Fingal County Council, originally scheduled for Wednesday July 22nd, has been postponed until Monday July 27th at 3pm. Please contact Paula Mc Kenzie to let her know if you can attend the new meeting time.

The next Bremore Castle clean-up day is scheduled for this Saturday, July 25th. The support of all residents is welcome on this day. So remind your neighbours, and get involved!

The next Resident’s Association meeting will be held on Monday July 27th. Details of time and location will be posted shortly.

Paula Mc Kenzie, Residents’ Association Chairperson, has arranged a meeting with Martin Sweeney and Joe Mahon of the Transportation Department in Fingal County Council. This meeting will take place on Wednesday 22nd July at 3pm. Please let Paula know in advance if you are free and would like to attend this meeting.
