Free Collection of WEEE and Batteries in Balbriggan on Saturday 13th March 2010
European Recycling Platform in association with Fingal County Council are holding 1 Open Day in Balbriggan where householders will be entitled to bring Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and batteries free of charge for recycling. All household Electrical Waste (e.g Fridge, washing machine, fluorescent tubes, microwaves, stereos, TVs, etc…) and batteries will be accepted free of charge.
This event is part of Fingal Eco Week.
Date and times will be as follows:
Saturday 13th March 2010 from 10am to 4pm, in Fingal Recycling Car Park (Unit 1 IDA Industrial Estate).
Please note this event is for households only.
If households can’t bring their electrical waste on this day, remember that all batteries and household WEEE are accepted free of charge and permanently at Coolmine Recycling Centre (Dublin 15) and Estuary Recycling Centre (Swords).
Batteries can also be brought back for recycling to any shop selling similar batteries (without requiring purchase of batteries).
WEEE can be brought back for recycling to a shop where a similar item has been purchased (on a one for one and like for like basis).
