Attention: Local Break ins

A number of house in the bremore castle estate have been broken into in the last week or so. We would urge residents to be extra vigilant and pay attention to neighbours homes. It it seems to be the work of people with local knowledge and that it is mainly sheds being targeted although one house was also broken into also. Garden tools like strimmers and lawnmowers seem to be they type of item being taken.

If you have any concerns please contact the local Garada station immediately 0n 01 841 2202 or the community garda Kate on 01 8020510.

Free Hand Basin / Car stereo for sale

Alessandra has a (used) wash-hand basin to give away for free. It’s the same as you can find across the Bremore Castle estate. Roca brand, good size. There is no catch. She replaced it with a different one and just thought that, before dumping, would see if anyone has any use for it. She also has a JVC car stereo with CD and mp3 player. That one comes at a price though (50 euro). It’s in perfect condition. If interested in any of the two, please mail alessandra_pollicini@hotmail.com

Thank you

A big thank you to all the residents of Bremore Castle for helping our neighbour who recently experienced a bereavement. People were very generous and it was gratefully received.

Thank you.

5 Aside Soccer

I am looking to find anyone interested in playing 5 a side soccer. I have contacted Glebe North and they have agreed to let me rent their astro pitch one night a week. I will have more details later today. I am hoping to start out with 10-12 people to play 5 aside. If there is interest this could be a guys league or a mixed league depending on interest.

If people could spread the word around and anyone interested please contact charlie at cdhealy@gmail.com or 0851349486. My hope would be that we could get a team together of people from the estate and eventually maybe organize games against teams from other estates.

Rules for the pitch are: RUNNERS ONLY so no blades, studs etc. If you are interested or have meet me, please make sure you email me so i have you details. Thanks!

Clay Shooting

The Clay Shooting Club have given us a discount deal of €50 per person for a group booking.  This will include individual day insurance, 50 cartridges and clays for each person, a qualified instructor to assist in the mounting, loading etc. of the shotgun.  There are facilities such as a clubhouse (bar, full kitchen toilets etc.)  Shooting can take place regardless of the weather, so don’t be disappointed if it rains on the day…

The booking is for Sunday afternoon of the 2nd May.   The girls are also invited; there is ‘lighter’ ammunition available if anybody so choose.
Contact Lourens @ lourenshenning@hotmail.com if you would like to attend.
